I am relaying in memory of my husband, Freddie Tourangeau, who passed away on December 10, 2008 to lung cancer and in honour of family and friends who survived cancer.

My husband was my world and when he was diagnosed with lung cancer, I was completely devastated. However, my husband took this diagnosis in stride and accepted whatever was happening to him. He took time to help his family accept and prepare for his passing. Cancer has touched my family and friends for many years and I want to help find a cure for cancer.

I relay to honour my husband. I relay to honour his parents who lost their lives to cancer. I relay to honour my sister-in-law who survived cancer. I relay to honour my cousin who survived cancer. I relay to honour a couple of friends who also survived cancer.
