Cancer stole the life of my family
In loving memory of my Mom, brother-in-law and my stepdaughter, whose lives were taken too soon
My Mom was 64 when she was diagnosed with this terrible illness in November,1977 and died in February 2008.
My brother-in-law was 50 when he developed a brain tumour and was taken 9 months after being diagnosed.
Trudy, my beloved step daughter was 43, married with 2 children when she was diagnosed, and fought for a full year before the illness took her life. Trudy was a fighter right up until the very end, but this is one fight that she unfortunately didn't win.
She had remarkable courage and love of her family even though she had a terminal illness. She put everybody else before herself. I love her and will miss her forever, but I thank her for giving me a wonderful son- in-law and two wonderful step grandchildren, this is her legacy.
