FOREVER IN MY HEART

For my father, Walter Walker who passed away February 4, 2005 after a lengthy and valiant battle with prostate cancer.

I relay for my dad, Walter Walker, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the very young age of 50 years.

For the next seven years his health continued to fail and on February 4th, 2005, at age 57, his illness took him away from us, his family. My mom and my two sisters sat by his bedside until his last breath and it is a moment in our lives that has changed everything for us.

I am thankful for every minute of time I had with my dad. He was a deeply devoted family man who adored my mom, his three girls and his five grandchildren. He was tender yet had a strength within that was evident in his battle with this horrific disease. I relay so that no man at age 50 has to hear that his life will be cut brutally short by prostate cancer. I relay for my DAD who will forever, and ever be in my heart.
