About my mom, my wife's mother, one beautiful niece and two fine nephews with their own small familes who succumbed after tremdous courage and ultimate faith.
I know a good many survivors who have proved time and again that cancer can definitely be beaten. It is about our loved ones who didn't survive, but who through the years continue to give us strength and the will to press on and conquer this disease.
A few weeks ago we lost a dear friend Sister Catherine Paters, a nun, who through her silent courage, inspired those who knew her. On the day she died, Sister 'Cappy' was still motivating those around her to become better, caring people.
That's why I am in.
