For an Uncle Just Lost
It wasn't even two weeks ago that I lost my uncle to pancreatic cancer.
He was diagnosed with a large tumour and given only six months to live. Before he started to suffer too much with the disease, he died suddenly in the hospital.
Although we are thankful he did not have to endure the pain associated with that type of cancer, nor the adverse effects of chemotherapy, we had expected to have more time with him before he died. It has reminded me that we should all value those in our lives and let them know how important they are to us, as often as we can.
