I am relaying for my son

I lost my son, who was 3 1/2 years old to cancer. I hope one day there is a cure so no other mother has to go through the pain of losing a child.

At the age of 4 months my son John was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

After 5 operations we were told that there was nothing more the doctors could do, that it was just a matter of time. Well that matter of time was 3 years. John fought to stay with us through all the years of pain.

When you give birth to a child, you never think you will have to bury them. That's not how it is supposed to be. I will never see John go to school, never see his first date, or his graduation. I will never see him marry or his child. I can never hug him again and tell him I love him.

I hope some day there's a cure for cancer so no parent has to face this.
