A guy I wish I met

It is a story of my grandfather that I never met.

I met a lot of my family like my nanny and papa and grandmother but never my grandfather.

I asked my mom one day why I never met him and she said that he died before I was born. I then asked how he died and she said it was cancer. That hit me! Since my brother had met him, I asked him if my grandfather was great, and he said, 'He was a great man, you would of loved to meet him'!  

When I moved to Woodstock, I witnessed the my first Relay For Life and when I first saw it, I asked my mom, 'Why do they do that'? She said, 'For cancer', and I replied, 'Yeah I know but why do they walk'?, 'They do not sit on their bums and raise money that way'? She said, 'It is not just about the money, it will save people'!

How do they show it by this way? And then it hit me! I want to do it and my mom told me all about it! I had a friend who did it with my church. Now I want to do it this year and I have to talk to my pastor but I know for sure I will be doing it this year!
