I relay for my mother and for myself.
In 1999, I lost my mother to cancer, then just 4 years later I was diagnosed with bone cancer.
In November of 2004, I had developed a limp whenever I was walking. I went to the doctors and was diagnosed with bone cancer. It was the same cancer that Terry Fox had.
After the first round of chemo, I went to Toronto for the operation to remove the cancer. When I arrived in Toronto the cancer had spread to the other leg. I had operations on both legs where they removed a section of the bone with the cancer and replaced it with a titanium artificial bone.
I still have both legs thanks to organizations like the Canadian Cancer Society and the Terry Fox Foundation. It has now been 4 years and so far I am cancer free! Thank You God!
