The reason I relay

The people I relay for.
I relay in memory of my Mom who lost her battle with cancer in 1997 at the age of 56, I was 22.
I relay because I want to fight against this horrible disease. I lost an uncle In 1991, an aunt in 2003, an uncle in May of 2009, a very dear friend and co-worker in May of 2009, My father and father-in-law have both beaten this terrible disease.
I'm tired of this horrible disease taking the people I love. It wasn't fair that my Mom died so young, but maybe with all the hard work this will be a thing of the past, and people will get to die of old age instead of a horrible disease.
Let's all work to make cancer history!
