Why I relay?
For my best friend, my dad, and the many more that have, or have been taken by, cancer.
July 5th, 2009, my birthday party to celebrate my 15th birthday. My present was loosing my best friend. Her name is Brianna. She was absolutely amazing. At 15 years, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She fought hard, but sadly the cancer could fight harder. My sister's boyfriend, Brydon, also has Leukemia, he's still in the fight, but at times it is hard. My Christmas present was my father being diagnosed with prostate cancer; he's often very sick and very grumpy. He’s always in a lot of pain. I hate seeing him in pain, so I will relay. A very close family friend, all my grandparents, aunts, uncles, more friends all have been taken from me, because of cancer. I'm only 15 years old, and I have already lost so many to cancer. It is a huge part of my life that I do not like. So I will fight, and together, we can all say goodbye to cancer, and find a cure.
