I have decided after losing a dear friend and a co-worker to cancer, I will walk the walk in their honour!

This year I lost a very dear friend to cancer. Maureen lost her fight at a far to young age, but she's not the only friend I have lost. A number of years ago I also lost a co-worker, again far too young! Another co-worker lost her sister to cancer. Another friend of mine lost her fight again a couple of years ago. I have had friends fight breast cancer, leukemia, prostate and various other forms of cancer. This year my daughter decided to walk for life for the second time, with her team of co-workers, a walk that she did last year. This year she has decided to shave her head. Inspired by her spirit I decided I would join her .... just one too many friends have lost this fight. In THEIR memory I have decided to walk the walk and shave my head!
