Best Friends

I have joined the Relay as a committee member to help two of my best friends. One, who is currently dealing with cancer and heading our amazing committee and another, who just a few short years ago, had to deal with a child diagnosed with Hodgkins.

It is my hope that my best friends will one day be able to permanently remove the word cancer from their everyday vocabulary. I would love to know that there are no more microscopic cancers cells roaming free in my friends’ body. I would love to know that my other friend will never have another sleepless night worrying that the cancer will return to her son’s now healthy body. I would love to know that I have the support of all my friends and family to help me fight the over 200 types of cancer waiting to attack another innocent victim. Won't you please help me?
