Diagnosed twice by the age of 30...

I was first diagnosed with rectal cancer 9 days after my 29th birthday and then with recurrence shortly before my 31st birthday. You are probably thinking it is odd that a young woman would have rectal cancer - I did!! And so did the man with breast cancer who was receiving chemo in the chair next to me!! Cancer does not discriminate.
I relay to help raise awareness and fight back. I relay to remember people and to honor people who have been touched by cancer.
It is partly because of the generous donations to this cause that I was able to receive top notch care and it is also how I am able to be monitored so closely. It is because of the exceptional care that I have my life back and I make the most of it every day!!
Please give so that hopefully one day people don't have to endure all that cancer brings to people and their loved ones.
