A life with my daugther
Why do I relay? I'm relaying so that I can have a chance to see my daughter grow up!
2010 was supposed to be the best year of my life. I was turning 30 and pregnant with my first child. In April 2010, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl, but just two and half months later I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had the next five months of my baby girl's life stolen from me. Thankfully though, as of December 2010, I am cancer free. So on June 10th, 2011, I'm relaying to fight back against this greedy disease so that no one else has to go through what I had to. I want my daughter to grow up in a world that is cancer free!!!!
