Now is the Time
Cancer is out there affecting lives and sometimes those lives are lost.
In March 2010, I heard those words I never thought I'd hear, "You have Cancer. . ." I started to block out the rest, I mean who wouldn't? I was fortunate, in that my cancer is highly treatable via surgery and radiation. I'm still dealing with the effects, but trying hard not to get down. You see, I've had some strong role models who have battled Cancer, and I want to live like they do.
I relay for me, for my family, and friends who have been touched by Cancer, and to fight this battle so in the future others will not know the pain and heartaches caused by Cancer.
