Life After Cancer

Life After Cancer
Life After Cancer

I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 37. Life didn't stop, however it stalled. My identical twin was diagnosed a year almost to the day ahead of me with the same cancer. So there were little surprises for me; life would never be the same.

I was 37 years old and diagnosed with cancer. I relay to help raise funds so hopefully no mother has to face her children and tell them that she has cancer. So no mother has to hold her children while they cry for her. I relay because I STILL CAN. I am a proud survivor who tells my story to anyone who listens. Be your own advocate and fight for your own health. Because if you don't who will?
The picture is of my tattoo that I got to celebrate my "cancer free". It says Survivor in the red heart!!! I truly feel like one
