The strength of Ken, my husband and my sister, Cathy

Ken came into my life some 29 years ago. We loved to walk, to talk, to travel, and just enjoy life as it came to us. In 1998, Ken suffered a heart attack which brought on many visits to Doctor's offices and to hospitals to keep the pump going. Little did we realize that it was not the heart but prostate cancer that would take his life in October, 2011. He suffered in silence, never complaining.
My sister, Cathy, died of the complications of breast cancer in October, 2011. She had suffered this for some years but always stayed strong until the end. She lived in England and because Ken was so sick I would not join my siblings to see her again.
They will be traveling the road together. He was my soul mate, she was my beloved sister.
