Why I Relay

I first walked to celebrate Martin Smith's survival and survivors Crystal Witterick & Cindy Hopper. 2012 - I'm walking to celebrate Martin and honor Eric Chynn - husband to Tracey & Dad to Nathan (3) - who lost a 6-month battle with cancer.

2011 - I met Lisa & Martin through a friend and decided to walk to celebrate Martin's victory over cancer as well as cancer survivors Crystal & Cindy.
2012 - I saw my niece, Tracey, lose her husband of 5 years - Eric Chynn, to this deadly disease after only 6 months.
Now I'm walking to celebrate Martin, Crystal & Cindy. I am also walking to honor Eric's fight to survive; Tracey & Nathan's strength during that fight, and to ensure their loss is not in vain by gathering donations from everyone I know.
Cancer needs to become obsolete - we need to defeat it in this lifetime!!
This is my 2012 resolution - please help me make this become a reality...
