In memory of my mom
I relay to carry on my mom's tradition of having a Relay for Life team which she started after being diagnosed with cancer. My mom, Susan Scott, lost her battle to cancer February 16th, 2011
After being diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare and resistant form of cancer, my mother went to her first Relay for Life. The following year we joined a team and every year since then my mother was team captain. My mom, Susan Scott, loved the Relay for Life and supported everything it was about! Even in her final year during chemotherapy treatment my mom registered a team and walked all night long. Her spirit, dedication and love for life has inspired me to keep her tradition alive by registering a team. We aim to make her proud every year and remind everyone to keep fighting!
