I've lost many loved ones to this terrible disease in its various forms. Last year alone I lost my mother, Pat Fraser R.N., several friends and even my dog. To me that is unacceptable. It's just too many losses. This year so far I lost my uncle. The picture you see is my memorial tattoo for my mom. Bone cancer took her from us, but she also had breast cancer. Cancer doesn't care who you are, it takes indiscriminately. I'm doing my first Relay this year in memory of all those that I have lost and in honor of all the Survivors. I want to help find a cure so that this horrible disease becomes a bad memory. I want to put an end to "too many losses".
