MY DAD AND SISTER,MY BEST FRIENDS

I lost my sister tia to brain cancer july,16th,2011, then lost my dad to bone and lung cancer on november 3,2011,it was the most horrible feeling i saw them through everything,until the end,i promised myself that i would do the relay for life every year.

When they were both taken from me to cancer, I did not want to live anymore, but I have a 17 year old son who my father and sister adored, and I think the whole situation just made me a stronger person, and I would do anything for anyone involved with cancer, because I know it has hurt so many people, my sister was only 47 and my dad 70 and they were such strong people, I still cry for them every day, but I know they are still here with me. I also lost 3 of my dad’s sisters to cancer and my mom’s sister beat cancer and my other sister has had cancer, while her 9 year old autistic daughter has already lost an ovary and is possibly going to lose the other, my heart is open to anyone involved with cancer whether it be friends or family or any other.
