Cancer touches every family, mine is not an exception to the rule.

Why am I taking part in the Relay for Life? I watched my father battle prostate cancer, the surgeries, and the radiation treatments that followed when the cancer spread to his bladder. He made a complete recovery after a ten year battle but he lost, we lost, his mother and father, his two brothers and my mother's oldest brother to cancer, and for me- the four skin cancers that I have on my face. So why am I relaying...in his memory and for all of the other "fighters" who are still doing their battle against cancer. I have always believed that the cure is just a 'few dollars away", what if I with the help of my family raised those dollars!
