Why Lake of the Woods Insurance picked our theme.

Our Relay for life group has decided to wear the colour of the cancer that has affected their lives in some way. Some of these people have had cancer and won or they have stood beside someone with cancer that they love and have either won or lost the battle. Either way we are here to help all people affected by cancer. For me, I am walking for my Mom. She had a hard fight this last year with Colon-rectal cancer which made me realize all of the groups that help in making the fight against cancer easier. The treatments that my Mom went through have helped in her receiving a clean bill of health and without the research that the cancer society does she might not be with us today.
