My fight against cancer

I was first diagnosed when I was 26 years old, newly married with a beautiful little baby girl to love.

I was first diagnosed when I was 26 years old, newly married with a beautiful little baby girl to love. Our life was perfect when cancer crawled in and changed everything. It was a very difficult period not only for me but especially for my family and loved ones.
I was lucky enough to be surrounded by love and support. I had great doctors and nurses to help me fight the cancer physically and I had my family and friends always there for me to help me moraly.
I'm now happy to say that I have been cancer free for almost 6 years and I think that every gesture, big or small, can help us fight and win the battle against cancer.
Now that I'm healthy and strong again, I'm proud to participate in this relay as a tribute to those who lost their lives, to those who can’t fight this year because they have a battle of their own to fight, and in honour of my family and dear friends that where always there for me through the good and the bad, through sickness and health.
