Last July I lost my stepfather to cancer. Its an experience I would never wish on anyone.

My stepfather was diagnosed with lung cancer on August 17, 2010, after being sick for nearly 2 years. He passes the following July after receiving all the treatments they could give him. He always made sure I knew I was loved as his own child and his faith was an amazing influence on me. I walk for him and in hope that a day will come when no one else ever has to experience that devastation of watching someone they love suffer that way.
