I relay for Daniela because she taught me how to live in the face of death.

My partner Daniela taught me a great deal during our 10+ years together. Daniela was always humble and quiet, but was also the most courageous person I have ever met. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer in the summer of 2011, Daniela decided to continue to pursue her Master’s degree because she wanted to study "hope and terminal illness." Daniela taught us all how to live with hope and courage. She taught us how to love. I relay for Daniela and to honour her brave and courageous battle. We will love and remember you forever sweetie!
