What "Relay For Life " means to me.
I have been involved in " Relay For Life" as a volunteer for three years. I enjoy all the laughter and tears throughout the night as everyone shares their stories.
Relay For Life has been an inspirational journey for me and many others. I myself Relay for my brother, who is a survivor and for my friends and family as well as many others who are dealing with the disease. Research and technology now has helped many cancer patients along the way that may not have had that chance years ago. We have updated equipment and better knowledge on certain cancers which makes our survival rate higher. I also Relay for my kids and their kids. I certainly hope we can make a difference, don't you?
