The reason I Relay.

I have 2 very important reasons to Relay...my father and my sister...

Some of us have been blessed enough not to be affected by cancer. I haven't. When I was only 25, I lost my precious father to cancer...and my beautiful sister Barb recently underwent a lumpectomy followed by chemo and radiation treatments in her fight against breast cancer.

Next Friday I will be fighting a battle of my own...the battle to stay awake all night, NOTHING in comparison to the battle millions of people fight just to be able to fall asleep...the ones who cannot fall asleep because they're worrying if the treatment they're receiving will be enough.
