Positive thinking and community support can cure everything.

When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer it didn't just hit my family it hit the whole community; my friends, my sister’s friends, my mom’s friends and of course our family. The day we told everyone was tough, it was a community of tears but that was the only day that tears flew. From this day on it was all POSITIVE thinking. Everyone was here to help in every way they could and show their support. My friends and my sister’s friends all got pink in their hair to show my mom we believe she can do this. Her friends were unbelievable, giving her pink boxing gloves so she could fight it with style! Everyone was around and it meant so much more to us than anything else. I believe without this support and positive thinking it would have been a slow and difficult flight. This was a smooth ride. I love my mom and am so proud of her for all she did and went through. I Relay for my mom!
