Fortunate One

I walk for one friend who fought along side of me, but didn't make it. I also walk for a great supportive boss during my time who succumbed to the disease later.

I was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2004 and survived.

I feel it's my time to help further the research by doing whatever I can to help somebody else beat this disease. I was the lucky one to have survived the radiation and chemo treatments. I remember sitting along side with all those brave women receiving chemo and watching them fight. I like to think by me walking, it will help some of them.
