Shocked! No family history but it had to start somewhere I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Sept. 28, 2004. After having a bilateral mastectomy and auxiliary node dissection; I started chemo. And wow that was something. PLEASE take your health care in hand and check and double check everything. A few extra minutes can save a lot of heartache. I was given WAY too much chemo my first time and it nearly killed me, but I have survived chemo and radiation and just celebrated my 5 year anniversary… Thank you God and my family and friends. |
