The Grandpa that Never Gave Up.

The Grandpa that Never Gave Up.
The Grandpa that Never Gave Up.

My Grandfather, as I called "My Papa" was the greatest person alive. I never thought he would loose his life to cancer.

On the 20th anniversary of my Grandma's death, my Papa was diagnosed with cancer in his brain. From there on it got worse and worse as the days passed. On August the 3rd 2009, around 3 pm, he passed away in my Mothers arms. That was the start of my bad days to come. Days went past, and it became hard to cope with the loss. How could someone so close, so loving and such a good soul pass from such a life eating disease. It will be three months tomorrow since he has left us, and it never gets easier. The struggles get harder, and every day is a mountain that I am faced with to climb, sometimes alone. From loosing my Papa, it has opened my eyes to live every day with no regrets, and to love everyone around you. That there is no time for fights. I cannot wait until the day we will finally meet. Until then, I rest him in Gods care. Rest in Peace Papa, I love you so much and I will never forget you.

Love Shauna.
