My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, my husband and i gave up our apartment to look after him.

My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, my husband and I gave up our apartment to look after him. As time went on, it spread from lung to brain to skin. When he was first diagnosed they gave him 6 months right away. We looked after him and as time went by he got worse. He only lived 6 months and passed away a week after his birthday...The saddest for me was watching him wither away to nothing and him not remembering who I was...That was a heartbreaker....So every year my husband and I do this for him...It’s like that’s how he would want it....
