My daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2011 when she was 2.5 years old. It has been a tough journey, but I am happy to say that Aly is in maintenance now and doing well.

Aly has been experiencing a fever for a little over a week until we finally took her down to emerg, later to find out that she needed a blood transfusion immediately. Her bloodwork also showed signs of what doctors figured was either a virus, leukemia or another form of cancer. We returned to the cancer clinic 3 days later for a bone marrow aspirate. We received the results later that day that our daughter had leukemia. We returned to the hospital the following day and started chemotherapy immediately. Please check out Aly's blog for the full story. www.alyfightsleukemia.blogspot.com
