My Cousin Sharon

My very brave and beautiful cousin battled breast cancer for a year and a half. We said good-bye to Sharon this past Good Friday....

My cousin Sharon shared with me on Canada Day 2011 that she had been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. She had an amazing and positive attitude through out her battle against this nasty disease. She had it, now she had to get rid of it, that was her way of thinking! She fought hard, she never gave up and never said "why me". She maintained her sense of humour, her love of life and her faith. Her body got tired of fighting and we said good-bye to Sharon on Good Friday of this year...far too soon.

We have participated in the Relay for Life several times but this year we were motivated to put together our own team - we are Cousins For The Cure!
