My nanny died when I was 2 from skin and lung cancer, we still support her.

I was always told how close I was with my Nanny. (NOTE: Nanny is another word for grandma). She would protect me, she had Cancer. Battled it for years, before she died (In December), she bought everyone their christmas presents, and bought us a trip to Disneyland because she knew she wasn't going to last to make it to the new year.

From since I can remember, before and after her death, we would come to Relay for Life. My mom was in charge of quite a few things until she HAD to quit. Every year now, we make it our DUTY to go to Relay For Life. To support those who have Cancer, those who have beat it, and those you have lost the Grand Battle.
