My grandbabies saved me!

I love going to the rink watching my grandchildren play hockey! One evening, they were both on the ice an hour apart so I settled on rink fries for supper and watched them play. The fries made me very sick and I ended up in the hospital.

Turns out that the sickness from the french fries caused a gall bladder attack. An appointment was made to remove the gallbladder and once that was completed, should have been end of story...it was just the beginning! The pathology report came back that the gallbladder contained a cancerous tumor which is very rare and aggressive. After many scans and appointments, the doctors determined there was no more evidence of cancer but a liver resection surgery would be needed to "clean things up". It was a major surgery but all went well and I have a clean bill of health!.. The oncologist, Dr. Stephanie Snow, told my husband and I that had I not gotten sick, by the time I would have had symptoms from the cancer, it would have been too late for me...
