My late husband passed away at the age of 33 years old when I was 5 months pregnant with our twin boys.

I walk for my boys so that they never have to suffer the way their father whom they never met did. Luciano lost his battle to rectal cancer at the young age of 33 years old. We had not even been married 2 years. His battle was a long one. For 5 1/2 years we fought together with everything we had. He was strong and brave and leaves a legacy that his boys can be proud of one day. My boys are now 3 1/2 and they are well aware of their father's presence in our lives. They speak of their father who is an angel up in heaven. The Relay for Life is something I am doing for them, in memory of their father. I hope that we can do it as a family as they get older. Nobody should have to suffer and endure what he had to.
