My daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2011 when she was 2.5 years old. It has been a tough journey, but I am happy to say that Aly is in maintenance now and doing well.

The best second chance I ever had

I was diagnosed with malignant germ cell cancer on one of my kidneys at age two and a half; though the images of my struggles are hazy, it is the experiences that followed the disease that have been the most rewarding.
