How you can get involved

Melissa with her famillyEveryone has a story about how cancer has touched their lives. But the good news is that together we represent a powerful force that can actually make cancer history. Make your cancer story the reason you give, of yourself, or your dollars, or your time as a volunteer or an advocate. Because this isn’t just another appeal - it’s about you making cancer history.

There are a lot of ways you can help

Share your story
Do you have a story to tell about how cancer has touched your life, either as a survivor or as a caregiver to someone who has battled cancer? Share your story with us, and we’ll share it with the rest of the world. You can provide others with hope for the future.

Volunteer or participate at a fundraising event
This year, there are over 400 Relay For Life events happening across Canada, in addition to all kinds of local events taking place in your community.

Make a donation online today
It’s fast, easy and secure. Your donation will be designated to the province/territory that you live in.

Be a part of a nationwide photo exhibition
The Cancer Connections exhibit uses black and white photography to illustrate the broad range of how cancer affects the lives of countless Canadians. All Canadians are invited to submit their photos and their cancer stories to this one of a kind traveling photo exhibition.

Other ways to show you care
There are many other ways you can support the Canadian Cancer Society, including advocating, volunteering your time, or participating in a local fundraising event. You can ensure your legacy of contributing in the fight against cancer, and enjoy significant tax benefits along the way through our tax-smart or corporate giving programs.
