How your monthly donation helps

When you become a member of the Canadian Cancer Society’s monthly giving program, you are joining a very special group of supporters.

For as little as $5 a month, you can give the gift of hope to people living with cancer. Your monthly donation will go to work immediately to help fund vital research on all types of cancer and also provide support and services for people living with cancer, their families and caregivers, in your own community.

When you become a monthly contributor, you provide us with a predictable source of income that allows us to more effectively plan ahead and maximize donor dollars. The size of your gift is not as important as the regularity of it. Your monthly commitment will make a big difference in the fight against cancer.

There are several ways you can join our monthly giving program. You can charge your monthly donation to your credit card. You can sign up online or by mail or fax. Your credit card will be charged the 1st of every month.

1. Sign up online!
   If you would like us to charge your credit card monthly for your contribution, and you want to sign up right now, simply fill out this online form. This is the faster way to join our monthly program, and it reduces administrative costs and allows your donation to go further in helping us make cancer history.
   
2. Sign up by mail or fax
   If you prefer, you can fill out this monthly donation form, and then mail it to the address below or fax it to 902-628-8281. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this form. Get Acrobat Reader here.

How can I change or cancel my commitment?

We respect your financial situation. If at anytime you want to change your commitment, please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements.

When will I get my tax receipt?

Receipts for monthly donors are issued annually. You will receive your receipt by mail in February of next year. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at the address above.
