An unforgettable, empowering experience for children and teens with cancer and their families.

Camp Goodtimes offers an extraordinary camp experience in a medically-supervised, safety-focused and supportive environment. We’ve been friendship-building and memory-making in British Columbia since 1985.

Where kids with cancer can just be kids

Where families affected by cancer can connect

Where volunteers help kids achieve anything

Where families can take a break and have fun

Get to know the camp

At the Canadian Cancer Society, we understand that cancer can change a lot of things. But at Camp Goodtimes, kids can have fun, accomplish their goals and thrive amongst peers who understand. Our summer and year-round programs are designed to foster independence, increase confidence and create an environment of understanding and support.

Our summer camp programs

Camp isn’t necessarily a place or even a program, it is a feeling. Camp programs, whether they be in the wilderness, or in an overnight setting allow kids and families with cancer to be themselves and meet others. Camp Goodtimes programs are designed to allow everyone regardless of ability to take part in recreational experiences. Our programs bring together kids and families living with childhood cancer across the province in order to connect, create friendships, a build a supportive community. At our programs, kids are not defined by their cancer experience, we allow kids to just be kids. Camper applications are now open until April 30, 2024. Learn more

Volunteer

Camp Goodtimes volunteers are the heart of our programs and truly make the experience for our campers and families an empowering and unforgettable one. Volunteer applications for our 2024 summer season will open on January 10, 2024! Learn more
