Good day and thank you for visiting the North Vancouver RCMP Cops for Cancer donation page.
The money raised helps fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives of our most valuable population; the children of Canada. Childhood cancer is the number one cause of disease-related death in Canadian children under the age of 15 years, and 2 out of 3 childhood cancer survivors suffer long-term side effects from their treatment. The Canadian Cancer Society is taking action against childhood cancer by funding high-quality pediatric cancer research and providing information and support to those families living with pediatric cancer.
Cops for Cancer – Tour de Coast is an exciting annual event that takes place each fall. Over 30 law enforcement and emergency services personnel brave all types of weather as they cycle up to 9 days and over 800 km along the coast of BC and across the Greater Vancouver Area.
Carlos Rockhill and Neil Jones are representing the North Vancouver RCMP and their efforts to raise money for this great cause. Both Carlos and Neil enjoy talking about what they are doing and sharing the stories of the families they have met. Please reach out to them and they thank you for your generous contribution.
Thanks for your support!
Carlos and Neil of the North Vancouver Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
