I am very excited about joining the Cops for Cancer Tour de North Ride this year as a rookie rider. I have watched my husband participate in the ride for the last two years and have heard all the good stories of being part of the “Team” and the positive impact it’s had on the communities.
I am excited for the challenge to come with the training and the ride itself. At home, I am a very qualified mother to four awesome boys, as I have degrees in both Science and Nursing. It has certainly had its challenges as I have spent the better part of the last decade caring for them. In the past I have worked as a high school teacher and a nurse in a physio clinic. Recently, I have switched from snowboarding to skiing and I’m lovin’ it. I really love spending time with my family whether it’s hiking, camping, boating, or biking.
The money raised from Cops for Cancer Tour de North helps:
• fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives;
• provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment;
• and supports our award winning Camp Goodtimes.
Please donate and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every donation takes us one step further in the fight against pediatric cancer. Online donations are secure and save the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thank you so much for your support!
