Welcome to Elizabeth's Page
I'm completely addicted – or how about the tempered definition: habit, routine, practice? Maybe tradition infused with passion? Either way, Cops for Cancer has worked its way into my system since my first tour in 2006. I continue to be moved by everyone who contributes to and volunteers for this outstanding cause.
It is my privilege to ride on alumni day in September this year and help out with training along with the other assiduous members of the steering committee. The spirit of Cops for Cancer continues to thrive and support families living with cancer, provide research funds for pediatric cancer, and send children and families to the incredible Camp Good Times in Maple Ridge.
Please support this truly remarkable cause, which was started by a police officer who showed compassion to a young boy suffering from cancer in 1994. As I say every year, every little bit counts! Thanks to all who have supported me in my 7 tours and year after year with my fundraisers including my annual spring plant sale.
As always, I participate in memory of my family members, friends of family, and our Cops for Cancer buddies who have died from cancer. Finally, my heart is with all of our junior team members who are our constant inspiration.
