A journey in memory of my little buddy Dejah
As a father of a child who had battled cancer, this cause is as personal as it can ever get.
With your utmost generosity, you will help me in achieving my fundraising goals as I tackle this 10 gruesome cycling days of the Tour de Coast in September.
This year I celebrate 10 years of making a difference in the lives of children battling to stay alive via the Kick for a Cure Initiative, a grassroots deed I founded with a goal of bringing a smile to one Cancer child at at time. This important initiative has been paramount in ensuring that childhood cancer patients and their families rest a little easier at Christmas time by providing them a respite during what is a tremendously difficult time in their lives. Furthermore, the Kick for a cure soccer tournament in the summer raises funds in support of the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Research Program at BC Children’s Hospital.
All this said, for the very first time we are creating history by fielding the biggest Border Services team in support of the Cops for Cancer by raising funds for Camp Goodtimes and the Canadian Cancer Society , again, making a difference in the lives of Children fighting to stay alive.
It’s for the kids :)
