I am participating in Cops for Cancer Tour de North to support the fight against kids' cancers.
Hi, my name is Richelle Fawdrey and I live in Terrace, where I am a proud member of the British Columbia Sheriff Service as a Deputy Sheriff. I have lived in Terrace for the past 12 years with my husband, Kevin and daughter, Addison. My family and I enjoy living in the northwest, when we are not spending time in our cabin at Usk, we can take advantage of the many Hiking trails the area has to offer. I have hiked many different places throughout British Columbia and every mountain provides me with a new challenge. My biggest challenges to date are Mt. Chiripo in Costa Rica and East Beach on Haida Gwaii. Having never completed any large cycling tour, I feel like this is an amazing new challenge and a way for me to support those with cancer. Although, cancer has not affected my immediate family it has touched a large amount of my extended family.
The money raised from Cops for Cancer Tour de North helps:
• fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives;
• provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment;
• and supports our award winning Camp Goodtimes.
Please donate and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every donation takes us one step further in the fight against pediatric cancer. Online donations are secure and save the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thank you so much for your support!
