Welcome to my Fundraising Page
Hi my name is Nora and I will be cutting my hair to help enable kids with cancer to go to camp goodtimes.
Camp goodtimes is a fun, medically supervised summer camp that allows children with cancer to escape their day to day life for a while. At the camp they spend lots of time outdoors, doing arts and crafts and making new friends.
"We can talk openly and not feel that one of us is going to judge, we all know what it’s like.” a young camp participant with leukemia told Times-Colonist's Katie Derosa, in late 2014.
I was inspired to cut my hair during last year's campaign by the many brave people at oak bay that decided to cut/shave their hair. After a lot of back and forth I have finally decided to cut 10 inches of my hair that I have been growing since I was five to be made into a wig for a sick child.
Please help me and a child with cancer reach my goal of $1000, even the smallest donation helps and is greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your support.
