My name is Terry Dhut. I am a member with the New Westminster Police Department proudly serving our community. Many times we come into contact with negative events and tragedies happening in other people’s lives. We do the best we can with our training and move on to the next call.
Continuing with our desire to help those in need, it is a great honour and a privilege to participate in the Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley to help those suffering from the hardship and pain that comes from such a horrible BUT beatable illness. This not only affects innocent children, but stretches further and affects the parents, siblings, extended family and friends. The discomfort goes beyond the physical pain.
My goal is to raise money so that we as a team can move forward to beating this horrible illness by funding more research and providing the support, comfort and the ability for a sick child to be a kid again by going to Camp Goodtimes.
This will take more than just me and my teammates riding over 800 kilometers in 9 days. This will take a community to do its part. Please become a part of my team and support me in my quest to move closer to the cure.
Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thanks for your support!
