Welcome to my fundraising page!
If you have made it here, you're already making the right steps by learning more about who I am, what I am doing, why I am doing it and how you can help!
I am Corporal Ranjit Seehra, a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, currently in my 10th year of service and working at the Surrey Detachment. Or, more infamously known as the police officer who chased the motorcycle down the escalator!
I am participating for the second time in the Cops for Cancer - Tour de Valley to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Tour de Valley is a 9-day event in which I, with the Cops for Cancer Team, will complete a grueling 900-kilometer spanning from Tsawwassen to Boston Bar.
By being a participant in this event, I have pledged to fundraise $6,000 dollars before the start of the event in September, 2018! The money raised will help fund leading-edge cancer research that will improve cancer treatments, prevent cancer and save lives.
Moreover, the money raised from this event is specifically for pediatric cancer research and providing support to children and their families which have been effected by childhood cancer.
I need your help to raise the $6,000 to make this goal happen! Together, we will fund research to fight cancer and provide support for those fighting the battle against cancer! Donating is simple! Click the "Donate Now" button on the right hand side of the page and follow the instructions. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer.
You can follow my journey as I train for this event through Instagram @cops4cancer.
